I started my Saturday with a quick hour session at the house to wrap up the dirt bike helmet. It didn't need much work, only a few details so I was able to finish it up quickly. I then headed out to watch my son's first ever kid pitch little league game. I loved playing little league so much, it is great to see him enjoy it as well.
After the little league game it was back to the house to work on the deer mural. This one required more work - I needed to tone the deer to it's final color, add in the hills and finally some trees. I was efficient with my time and finished up the mural with time in my day to spare. I am quite pleased with the end result.
Finally, after the mural work was completed, it was time to race home so I could go out on a date with my beautiful wife. We chose to head down to Clayton, NC to eat at the restaurant that is currently showing 10 pieces of my artwork. It was fun to sit in the room and listen for people commenting on my art (luckily, everything we heard was positive!).
After dinner, it was back to 'life'. Sunday was a lot of fun, I got to spend the day with my two youngest on my own while my wife took care of some things on her to-do list. I enjoy every minute I have with my kids - all five of them!
